SmartWeld is leading the transformation of industrial welding by integrating advanced hardware with cloud and IoT technologies. As a Full Stack Developer working with Node.js, ReactJS, Angular, and PostgreSQL, I’ve helped create a system that enhances efficiency, precision, and control in welding operations.
SmartWeld captures real-time machine data using IoT devices, providing full control via a responsive UI built with React and Angular. The MQTT protocol streams sensor data to AWS, where it’s processed and stored in PostgreSQL, allowing for real-time monitoring and historical analysis. Even during network disruptions, SmartWeld ensures no data is lost, offering operational reliability.
Hosted on AWS, the system is scalable and secure, using clustering, load balancing, and HTTPS encryption. Robust security measures, including SSO via Azure AD and OAuth, protect the platform, while performance optimizations keep the UI fast and responsive.
SmartWeld’s standout feature is its real-time data visualization, displaying critical machine metrics through dynamic graphs. AWS Lambda testing ensures the system remains resilient and future-ready.
By merging IoT, cloud power, and security, SmartWeld is revolutionizing industrial welding for a smarter, more efficient future.

OVERVIEW
An Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gas concentration monitoring system designed to enhance workplace safety in industrial settings. By providing real-time monitoring and timely alerts via SMS, email, or audible alarms, the system ensures immediate action if hazardous gas levels are detected. It integrates Wi-Fi modules, gas sensors, cloud-based storage, and a user-friendly dashboard accessible upon login
Problem Statement:
• High Risk of Gas Leaks: Industrial environments like chemical plants, refineries, and manufacturing facilities frequently handle gases, making them vulnerable to leaks.
• Potential for Harm: Undetected leaks can harm employees and damage infrastructure.
• Manual Monitoring Limitations: Manual checks are inefficient and unsafe.
• Need for Real-Time Monitoring: A lack of automated alerts increases operational risks.
Business Solution:
• Hardware: Wi-Fi module with gas sensors transmits data to the cloud.
• Cloud: MQTT broker ensures real-time, low-latency communication.
• Dashboard: UI interface displays data in real-time; DB stores it for long-term access.
• Alerts: SMS, email, and buzzer notify users of unsafe gas levels.
Project Outcome:
Improved Safety: Reduces risks of accidents.
Operational Efficiency: Automates monitoring, reducing the need for manual checks and allowing employees to focus on other essential tasks.
Data-Driven Insights: Enables preventive maintenance with historical data.
